Farm “Kliģeni”is family-owned enterprise, which was established in March 18, 1992, with the aim to farm agricultural production.

Enterprise’s founder is Aleksadrs Raubiško.

History

In December 1993 has bought immovable property in Vaļņu Street 27 with 0.3 ha under glass greenhouse farm.

In October 1994 in Vaļņu Street 27 was opened first shop “Dārznieks” where are sold in enterprise produced, mainly flowers and necessary gardening inventory.

In May 1996 Z/S “Kliģeni” privatize, rent with redemption, Cēsis regional council owned municipal enterprise „Cēsu zieds”, market garden J.Poruka Street 37 (today Ābolu Steet 12) with 1.2 ha.

In May 1996 started to work second shop “Dārznieks” in Cēsis, Izstādes Sreet 3. Similar with first shop, at this trading place too are offered market garden production and gardening inventory.

In May 2002 was signed long – term contract with Cēsu city council about all the cities green area greening and cultivation. In May 2004 repeatedly was signed long – term contract.

In 2003 was begun to build new greenhouse complex and at 2008 there has been built 3.2 ha new and with high technological level equipped greenhouses. Mainly these greenhouses are for establishing new products – tomatoes and cucumbers.
